Pam Shriver is a former professional tennis player and current sports broadcaster from the United States. She was born on July 4th, 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Her height is 6 foot and her weight is 160 pounds. She is a right-handed player and turned professional in 1979. She reached in the U.S. Open semi finals from 1981 to 1983, Wimbledon semi finals from 1981 to 1988, U.S. Open semi finals from 1982 to 1983 and Women’s Tennis Association, WTA Tour Championships finals in 1988.
 
In 1978 she won first singles title at Avon Futures of Columbus, Ohio. In 1988 she won the Olympic Gold Medal in doubles with Garrison and halted Steffi Graf s 46 match win-streaks at Virginia Slims Championships. In 1991 she captured the Gold Medals at Pan Am Games in singles, doubles and mixed doubles as well.
 
She won 22 Grand Slam titles including 21 doubles and one mixed doubles and tied in ninth place with Steffi Graf on the all-time list for total Grand Slam titles. She was elected sixth president of WTA Tour Players Association from August 1991 to 94 and also was elected vice president for three terms. She received the 1989 Thurman Munson Award and the Lifetime Leadership Award from the American Skin Association in 1998. In doubles she has a record of 7 Australian Open, 5 French Open, 5 Wimbledon and 4 US Open titles.
 
Pam Shriver with all her dedication and devotion in her play has achieved many goals in her overall tennis-playing career. She had the ability of defeating the opponent easily by giving some extra hard work and efforts. She was a legendry tennis player known for an outstanding play during her time.
