Hilde Sperling was a German tennis player. She was born on 26th March 1908 in Essen.   She is generally regarded as the second greatest female German tennis player in history, after Steffi Graf. She reached in the 1935, 1936 and 1937 French Open Championships is one of three women in history to do so.



 


From 1930 to 1939 she was listed in the top ten of the world rankings and reached second place in 1936 and 1937. She reached the final of Wimbledon two times in 1931 and 1936. In 1936 she took the mixed couple trophy playing with Gottfried von Cramm. From 1933 to 1939 she also won the German Open 7 times that was a record which was brooken by Steffi Graf's 9 victories.



 


Hilde Sperling with all her dedication and devotion in her play has achieved many goals in her overall tennis-playing career. She had the ability of defeating the opponent easily by giving some extra hard work and efforts. She was a legendry tennis player known for an outstanding play during her time.
