Tennis is an outdoor sport which can be played between two players or four players. Players utilize a stringed racquet to hit a rubber ball, hollow inside covered with felt over a net into the opponent's court. In some places tennis is referred to as lawn tennis. This game started in England and was the most popular amongst the upper class of society. Presently tennis is an Olympic sport, as well as, it is played in various tournaments including the four Grand Slams in many countries, by people of all ages and classes. Fabiola Zuluaga was born on January 7th, 1979 in Cucuta, Colombia. Her height is 5 foot 7 inches and her weight is 141 pounds. She is a right-handed two-handed backhand player. She turned professional on February 2nd, 1994. In her career she reached the Australian Open semifinals in 2004. From age 7 she started play tennis. She also reached the third round of the German Open and the French Open on her preferred claycourts. In 1995 she won first professional singles title at International Tennis Federation, ITF and in 1996 she won ITF Bogota and ITF Byton. In 1999 she finished at Top 50 and won her first Tour singles title. She played three Grand Slams, reaching Roland Garros of the French Open third round on debut and also reached Amelia Island quarterfinal and Miami as well. In 2000 she reached career-high ranking of No. 31 on July 10th. 2004 was her career-best season highlighted by the first Grand Slam semifinals debut and winning fifth career Women’s Tennis Association, WTA Tour title at Bogota. She was the first Colombian player to reach a Grand Slam semifinal. She achieved the awards in juniors, winning every tournament on the Coast circuit Under 14s, and four tournaments on the European circuit Under 14s. In her career history she ranked in Singles No. 16 in 2005 and Doubles No. 128 in 1999. Fabiola Zuluaga with all her dedication and devotion in her play has achieved many goals in her overall tennis-playing career. She had the ability of defeating the opponent easily by giving some extra hard work and efforts. She was a legendry tennis player known for an outstanding play during her time.
