Anne Kremer
Tennis is an outdoor sport which can be played between two players or four players. Players utilize a stringed racquet to hit a rubber ball, hollow inside covered with felt over a net into the opponent's court. In some places tennis is referred to as lawn tennis. This game started in England and was the most popular amongst the upper class of society. Presently tennis is an Olympic sport, as well as, it is played in various tournaments including the four Grand Slams in many countries, by people of all ages and classes. Anne Kremer is well known tennis player. She was born on October 17, 1975 in Luxembourg, Luxembourg. Her height is five foot five inches and weight is 121 pounds. She is right handed tennis player. She is winner of many championships in 2000. She also won the championships that were held at Auckland, Pattaya City in 1999, ITF International Tennis Federation/Midland United States in 1998 and ITF and Albuquerque United States in 1994. In women’s single tennis she reached finals two times in 2001 at Budapest and in 1999 at Pattaya City. She reached the semi final for four times in 2004 at Seoul, in 2002 at Amelia Island, in 2001 at Quebec City and last time in 2000 at Eastbourne. She reached first semi finals in over two years at Seoul and quarter finals at Birmingham and Hertogenbosch. She made 3round at Wimbledon and defeated number 19 seed Zuluaga in 1round. He returned to top 100 at number 99 on October 11 for first time since June 2003 and withdrew from Roland Garros with left adductor strain. She received three awards the first is Represented Luxembourg in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and was the country’s flag bearer in the Opening Ceremony. She played two years of collegiate tennis at Stanford University and helped school win NCAA, National Collegiate Athletic Championship national title in 1997. She earned All-American honors both years, ranking among the NCAA’s top 10 for most of sophomore year. She was finalist at European Championships and won the Belgium singles title in 1992-1996 outdoor and 1990-1996 indoor. She was singles and doubles champion at the 1993 USTA, United States Tennis Association International Grass Courts.
