His doubles career titles started in 1981 South Orange, Denver, 1980 Cologne, Newport, in 1978 Paris Indoor, in 1974 Vienna, in 1972 Tanglewood finalist, in 1982 Johannesburg, in 1981 Hilversum. In 1980, Frankfurt, Milan, Surbiton, in 1978 Basel, in 1977 Dayton, in 1974 Salisbury, Johannesburg WCT, in 1973 Washington, Atlanta WCT, and in 1972 East Bourne. His superior approach and dedication to the game made him stand out from the crowd and he had a willingness to play anywhere even while suffering from an injury.
