Tennis is an outdoor sport which can be played between two players or four players. Players utilize a stringed racquet to hit a rubber ball, hollow inside covered with felt over a net into the opponent's court. In some places tennis is referred to as lawn tennis. This game started in England and was the most popular amongst the upper class of society. Presently tennis is an Olympic sport, as well as, it is played in various tournaments including the four Grand Slams in many countries, by people of all ages and classes. 
 
There are three different court surfaces it is played on namely, clay court, grass court and hardcourt. Depending on the surface, each one provides a different movement of speed and bounce for the ball, which in turn affects the level of play of individual players. Scott Draper was born on 5 June 1974 at Brisbane, Australia. His height is five foot ten inch and weight is 170 foot. He is a right handed player and he turned professional in 1993.
 
He began playing tennis at age four with entire family.. As a junior, he captured 1992 Wimbledon doubles title and finished number 5 in world junior doubles rankings. He is an excellent golfer and played in Queensland golf Championships in November 2003, shooting rounds of 73 and 72. He enjoys playing on clay and hard courts. He has 1-2 careers Davis Cup record, losing both 1stround matches to Argentina and winning a dead rubber versus India in 2002.
 
On North American hard courts, he reached first ATP, Association of Tennis Player quarter final since Newport 2000 at Indianapolis. He recorded hard-fought victories over Reynolds, defending champion Rusedski and Fish before losing to eventual finalist Srichaphan.

At Cincinnati, he had seven match points against Wimbledon champion Federer before losing 14-12 in third set tie-breaks. He finished season with consecutive quarter finals at Shanghai, Tokyo and Tiburon Challenger. He compiled 11-11 record on hard courts, 2-3 on grass and 0-2 on clay. He was a player known for his mental toughness and because of that, many of his most famous matches went the distance.
