She is a right-handed, two-handed backhand player. She is debuted on ITF, International tennis Federation Circuit in 1995. She won National Championship under 14s and participated in Soisbault Cup under 18s.
 
In 1999, she won three ITF Circuit events in Spain. In 2000 she debuted on tour as a qualifier at Auckland with ranking 234 and as number 183 qualifier, reached quarterfinal at Bogota which was a second appearance on tour. In 2004 season, she was a quarterfinalist at Sopot, reentered Top 100 at number99 first time since January 2002 and qualified as number 142 at Wimbledon.
 
In 2005, she won consecutive tour main draw matches just two more times, at Miami defeating world number 11 Zvonareva for best victory to date. She fell at 1 round at Australian Open, Wimbledon and US Open. She won biggest career title in doubles at Tier II Beijing, runner-up in doubles at Rabat and s-Hertogenbosch, semifinalist at Hasselt. She made Fed Cup debut in World Group I quarterfinals verses Argentina, going 1-1 in singles and 1-0.
