Julia Schruff
Julia Schruff is one of the finest and great tennis players who possess best statistics record in professional career. She was also the semifinalist in the 2005 season at Filderstadt with Woehr. Additionally, she became German Federation Cup Team member from 2004 to 2006. Julia was inducted by her debut match at three ITF circuit events in Germany and Italy in 1997. In 1998, she was a semifinalist at the ITF Nicosia game and later contested first tour qualifying at Leipzig in 1999. She reached one ITF Circuit quarterfinal in 2000, first ITF finals in 2001 at Alkmaar and was a three-time semifinalist on the ITF Circuit in 2002. Julia finished her 2005 season with a position in the top 100 that included quarterfinal appearance at Hasselt and victory over Myskina who ranked at 83rd position. Julia was encouraged and coached by her father Gerhard Schruff and started playing tennis at the age of 5 years. Her father introduced Julia to the game at a neighborhood tennis court and since then emerged into a baseliner who favors backhand drop-shot and clay courts.
