She had the best showing of any American at the 2000 US Open girls’ singles championship while reaching at the quarterfinals. She won the girls’ 18s title at the 2000 Easter Bowl Championship. She had won the 2001 Wimbledon doubles title and also was a singles semifinalist in the 2001 Australian and Roland Garros championships. She had won the 2001 Astrid and Asuncion Bowls.
