Tennis is an outdoor sport which can be played between two players or four players. Anna-Lena Groenefeld was born on June 22, 1985, in Nordhorn, Germany. Groenefeld is a Right-handed two-handed backhand player, with a height of five feet eleven inches and weighing 67 pounds. He is a well known Tennis Player.
 
In 2002, he won first singles title at ITF, International Tennis Federation and Saulgau-GER. He played first tour qualifying at Hamburg and Filderstadt. In 2003, he turned pro in April, winning four ITF Circuit singles titles, incl. He played first Grand Slam qualifying at US Open.
 
In 2004, he won first top 100 finish, tour QF debut at Palermo, 2r in Grand Slam debut at Roland Garros, top 100 debut on April 19 at number 100, he reached first four doubles finals of career with three different partners, and three SF, member of German Fed Cup Team that l. to France 5-0 in 1r, withdrew from Guangzhou w/shoulder injury and ret. in Tashkent doubles SF w/left wrist sprain. In 2005, Breakthrough season, highlighted by three singles finals and three doubles titles and career-first tour singles final at Pattaya City.
 
Groenefeld won awards in 2003 Roland Garros and 2002 Astrid Bowl, finals at 2002 Orange Bowl and USTA Winter Championships, held number one junior ranking during part of 2003 season.
