On June 24, Denmark and France starred a match, in which, with one-goal difference, France won over Denmark, who scored one goal.  Hence, in the round of 16, the match between France and Paraguay ended 1-0, in favor of the European team.  In the quarter-finals, the match between France and Italy ended in a draw (0-0); however, France won with 4 penalty shootouts.  In the semi-finals match on July 8, France defeated Croatia 2-1, and the final match was starred by France and Brazil, in which the South American country lost 3-0.
