Club de Futbol Pachuca
Club de Futbol Pachuca, or simply Pachuca, is a Mexican football club that plays in the Primera División (the first division of Mexican football). This club is the oldest in the Primera División and is based in Pachuca, Hidalgo. The nickname of Pachuca is: “Los Tuzos” (Gophers). Enrique Meza is the coach of Pachuca. This club plays its home games at Estadio Hidalgo, a multi-use stadium in Pachuca, Hidalgo with a capacity of 30,000 people. This stadium is named after the Mexican state of Hidalgo, which is named in honor of Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla.
Pachuca has won 7 national championships and one CONCACAF Champions’ Cup in 2002. This club is the current champion of Mexican football. The biggest rivalry of Pachuca is with Tigres de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.
