Deportivo Toluca Futbol Club, also known simply as Toluca or by its nickname “Los Diablos Rojos” (Red Devils), is a Mexican football club that plays in the Primera División (the first division of Mexican football). Toluca has 8 national championships. Américo Gallego is the coach of this club. Deportivo Toluca Futbol Club plays its home games at Estadio Nemesio Díaz, one of the oldest soccer stadiums in Mexico. Nicknamed La Bombonera, the stadium has a capacity of 40,000 people and is located in the city of Toluca, Estado de México, near Mexico City.

Toluca won two consecutive championships in 1966 and 1967 and one in 1975. In 1997, Enrique “Ojitos” Meza became the coach of the club; he had an offensive tactical scheme and Paraguayan striker Jose Saturnino Cardozo took advantage of this; he became the best scorer of the league in four occasions. In 1998, the club won its first championship in twenty years; in fact with Enrique “Ojitos” Meza as coach, Toluca won the championship three times in a period of three years. Some of the current players of Toluca are: Hernán Cristante, Paulo Da Silva, Ariel Rosada, Manuel De La Torre, Bruno Marioni, Antonio Naelson (Zinha), Vicente Sánchez, Jose Manuel Abundis, Emilio Hassan Viades.
