Reebok

Reebok International Limited gained prestige in the world of sports as an Anglo-American Fortune 500 company, and producer of athletic footwear, apparel and accessories. Its name comes from the South African spelling of the word rhebok, a species of African gazelle. The company was originally founded in 1895 as Mercury Sports, but adopted its current name in 1960. Recently, thought, the company was acquired by German footwear giant Adidas AG, which completed the takeover in early 2006.

Today, Reebok offers a very wide variety of products, including bags, caps, socks, sunglasses, special collections (basketball, DGK, Running, Pump, Lifestyle, etc), fitness equipment (training aids, heart rate monitors, etc) and official items from the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, WNBA and others.
