Boras is a city in Vastergotland, western Sweden. The most successful sports team is the IF Elfsborg which was founded in 1904 as Boras Fotbollslag. The club has won four Swedish championship titles (1935- 1938- 1939- 1961) and two national cup titles. IF Elfsborg is at this time playing in the highest Swedish league, Allsvenskan, which holds the top 14 clubs.
