Club Deportivo Olimpia is a Honduran football club based in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. It plays in the Liga Nacional de Honduras (the first and highest division of football in Honduras). Olimpia has won two CONCACAF Champion’s Cups (in 1972 and in 1988). This club was the champion of the Liga Nacional de Honduras in 2005 and 2006. Raul Sambula is the manager of this club.

This club was founded on June 12, 1912 by Ramón Field, Samuel Inestrosa Gómez, Miguel Sanchez, Santiago Buik, Enrique Buk, Arturo Bram, Carlos Bram and Héctor Pineda Ugarte. Back then, the club was called Nacional Olimpia and was exclusively a baseball club; however, in 1924, it also became a football club. Santiago Chavarria named this club after the 1896 Athens Olympic Games. In September of 1928, Club Deportivo Olimpia won its first national championship. A national rivalry against Club Marathon from San Pedro Sula was formed. The rivalry between Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula, two of the main cities of Honduras, still exists.

The most notable former players of this club are: David Suazo, Denilson Costa, Alex Pineda, Vicente Viera and Juan Carlos Contreras. Some of the current players of Club Deportivo Olimpia are: Ricardo James, Milton Palacios, Arnold Cruz, Jose Luis Pineda, Juan Manuel Carcamo, Reynaldo Tilguath, Wilmer Velasquez, Wilson Palacios, Danilo Tosello and Noel Valladares.
