Dundee United Football Club (F.C.) was founded in 1909 as Dundee Hibernian and in 1923 as renamed under Dundee United, the present name of the club; it is a Scottish football club that belongs to the Scottish Premier League. They play their home matches at the Tannadice Park, which has a capacity of 7000 people and is located in Dundee. Dundee is a beautiful Scottish Gaelic city which recently celebrated its 800th anniversary.


Dundee United Football Club F.C. uniform colors for home matches are orange (shirt and socks) and black (short). They have earned the nicknames of “The Terrors” and “The Tangerines”. The club has achieved several honors, among which we can mention: UEFA Cup and Runners-up in 1986-87; Scottish League Premier Division: winners one time: 1982-83; Scottish League Division Two, Scottish League First Division, Scottish Cup, Scottish League Cup, Scottish League Challenge Cup, and City of Discovery Cup, the most recent in 2005.


Dundee United Football Club F.C. current boardroom of representatives is formed by: Eddie Thompson, who is the president, Beverley Anderson, the club secretary, Derek Robertson the press officer and Craig Brewster who is in charge of coaching. The Scottish Premier League obtained the UEFA affiliation in 1954 and the FIFA affiliation in 1910.
