Sevilla Fútbol Club

Sevilla Fútbol Club is a Spanish professional football club based in the city of Seville (the artistic, cultural, and financial capital of southern Spain), Andalusia. The club was established on October 14, 1905, making it the oldest football club from Seville, and the second oldest from Andalucia. Sevilla FC plays in the Liga de Fútbol Profesional or LFP (commonly known as La Liga, is the professional football league in Spain). Supporters of the team often refer to it by any of its nicknames: Sevillistas and rojiblancos (red-whites) because the team’s colors are red and white. When playing as home team, players wear a white shirt with red-striped sleeves, white shorts and black socks; when playing as away team, players wear red shirts with white stripped sleeves, red shorts and socks.

Sevilla Fútbol Club’s home ground is the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, a stadium in Seville, Spain. The Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán was the venue for the 1986 European Cup Final between Steaua Bucharest and Barcelona and the 1982 World Cup Semifinal game between Germany and France. The Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuan is located in the Nervion neighborhood and it is nicknamed "La Bombonera" or "La Bombonera de Nervión". The stadium seems to bring luck when used in international games: neither Sevilla FC nor the Spanish national team have ever lost a game when they played against an international team in this stadium. Sevilla FC has played 26 international games while the Spanish national team has played 22 games, making it a 48-game streak without losing any single game.
