AS Monaco FC or Association Sportive de Monaco Football Club is a Monegasque football club, founded in 1919. AS Monaco became a professional club after 1948. Although the club is based in Monaco, it has always competed in the French football structure; in fact, the club has always been regarded with a certain suspicion by a segment of the French population. AS Monaco FC is one of the most successful clubs in French football, it has won seven league titles and five French Cup titles. In 2004, the club reached the final of the UEFA Champions League but lost to FC Porto.

This club plays its home games at Stade Louis II in the Fontvieille section of Monaco.
