Fimleikafélag Hafnarfjarðar (FH) is a football club from Iceland, form a port town called Hafnarfjörður, located on the south-west coast of Iceland, near Reykjavík; its population is of no more than 22,450 inhabitants. Each year, the Viking festival is celebrated and there is a great display of the Viking culture: Garb, handcraft, sword-fighting and so on. The local industry has been dedicated to aluminum smelting since 1969.
Fimleikafélag Hafnarfjarðar (FH) was founded October 20, 1929 and became slightly famous the day they beat Scottish club Dunfermline, during the 2004-05 UEFA Cup rounds; they also became the current Icelandic champion for the second year consecutively. The league top-scorer is Tryggvi Guðmundsson with 16 goals in 17 matches played.
Fimleikafélag Hafnarfjarðar (FH) stands in the first (1st) ranking position of the Football Association of Iceland. The most famous players are Hannes Sigurðsson, Arnar Viðarsson, Bjarni Viðarsson, and Emil Hallfreðsson. They play at their home multi-use stadium called Kaplakriki; this ground has capacity for 2200 persons.
