Mohamed Aly was born February 19, 1975 and is an Egyptian boxer who competed in the Olympic events. He participated in the super heavyweight class at the 2004 Summer Olympics and won the silver medal. One year earlier, he captured the silver medal in his weight division at the All-Africa Games in Abuja, Nigeria.
 
Mohamed Aly, with all his dedication and superior approach towards the sport, achieved many goals in his overall athletic career and became an international celebrity and a symbol of hope to millions.
