Sheila Ingram was born on 23 March 1957. She is an American athlete and competed mainly in the 400 metres. She competed for United States in the 1976 Summer Olympics held in Montreal, Canada in the 4 by 400 meter where she won the silver medal with her team mates Debra Sapenter, Pamela Giles and Rosalyn Bryant.
 
Sheila Ingram with all her dedication and devotion in her play achieved many goals in her overall athletic career. She had the ability of defeating the opponent easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts. She never lost hope in herself and always fought hard to achieve her goal. She is still remembered as one of the best athletes in the history of Olympics.
