Krisztina Regoczy

Krisztina Regoczy was a Hungarian figure skater. She competed in ice dance with Andras Sallay. The pair won the gold medal at the 1980 World Figure Skating Championships and the silver medal at that year's Winter Olympics. Her career statistics include 13th in 1970 European Championships, 14th in 1971 European Championships, 11th in 1972 European Championships, 10th in 1973 European Championships, 13th in World Championships, 7th in 1974 European Championships, 6th in World Championships, 6th in 1975 European Championships, 4th in 1976 European Championships, 5th in Olympics, 4th in World Championships, 2nd in 1977 European Championships, 4th in World Championships, 3rd in 1978 European Championships, 3rd in 1979 European Championships, 2nd in World Championships, 2nd in 1980 European Championships, 2nd in Olympics and 1st in World Championships.
With all her dedication and devotion in her play achieved many goals in her overall athletic career. She had the ability of defeating the opponent easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts. She never lost hope in herself and always fought hard to achieve her goal. She is still remembered as one of the best athletes in the history of Olympics.
