Beverly McDonald was born on February 15, 1970 in Saint Mary, Jamaica. She is a Jamaican sprinter. She won the silver medal in 4 by 100 meters relay at the 2000 Olympics. Her Achievements include, 1991 World Championships in Tokyo, Japan. In Sweden she resulted 2nd in 4 by 100 meters. In 1997 World Championships Athens, Greece resulted 2nd in 4 by 100 meters relay. In 1999 World Championships in Seville, Spain 2nd in 200 metres. Beverly with all her perseverance and superior approach towards the sport, accomplished many aspirations in her overall athletic career. She possessed the ability of defeating the opponent easily by just giving some extra effort. She never lost hope in herself and always strived hard to accomplish her ambition.
