Bent Hansen
The Olympic Games, or Olympics, is an international multi-sport event taking place every four years which comprises of summer and winter games. Though the first ancient games were held in 776 B.C, the modern games started from 1896.The unity of the 5 continents is shown on the Olympic flag by five colorful intertwined rings of red, blue, green, yellow, and black, created by Baron Pierre de Coubertin to represent atleast one color of the participating country’s national flag.
Bent Hansen was born on September 13, 1933 and he died on March 8, 2001. He was a Danish football soccer player who won a silver medal with the Denmark national football team at the 1960 Summer Olympics. He played a total of 58 national team matches from 1958 to 1965, in which he scored a single goal. On the club level, Bent Hansen played for Copenhagen club B 1903.
Bent was a player known for his mental toughness owing to which many of his famous matches went the distance. His superior approach and dedication to the game made him stand out from the other players of his epoch.
