Michel Jazy

The Olympic Games, or Olympics, are an international multi-sport event taking place every four years which comprises of summer and winter games. Michel Jazy was born on June 13, 1936 in Oignies and is a former French middle distance runner who won the silver medal over 1500 meters at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome. The race was won by Herb Elliott in a new world record time. Jazy also set a world record over the Mile in a time of 3.53 minutes in Rennes in 1965 and a world record over 2000 meters in 4.56 minutes in Saint Maur in 1966.

With all his dedication and devotion in his play achieved many goals in his overall athletic career. He had the ability of defeating the opponent easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts. He never lost hope in himself and always fought hard to achieve his goal. He is still remembered as one of the best athletes in the history of Olympics.
