The Olympic Games, or Olympics, is an international multi-sport event taking place every four years which comprises of summer and winter games. Though the first ancient games were held in 776 B.C, the modern games started from 1896.The unity of the 5 continents is shown on the Olympic flag by five colorful intertwined rings of red, blue, green, yellow, and black, created by Baron Pierre de Coubertin to represent atleast one color of the participating country’s national flag.
 
Ski jumping is a sport in which skiers go down an inrun with a take-off ramp, attempting to go as far as possible. In addition to the length that skiers jump, referees give points for style. The skis used for ski jumping are wide and long and only attach to the skier's toes. Ski jumping is predominantly a winter sport, performed on snow, and is part of the Winter Olympic Games, but can also be performed in summer on plastic, or on water with water skis.
 
Janne Happonen was born on June 18, 1984 in Kuopio, Finland. He is a Finnish ski jumper who represents Puijon Hiihtoseura as his ski club. With his perseverance and superior approach towards the sport, he accomplished many aspirations in his overall athletic career. He possessed the ability of defeating the opponent easily by just giving some extra effort. He never lost hope in himself and always strived hard to accomplish his ambition.
