The Olympic Games, or Olympics, is an international multi-sport event taking place every four years which comprises of summer and winter games. Jesus Miguel Rollan Prada was born on April 4, 1968 in Madrid. He was a former water polo player from Spain and a member of the national team, which won the gold medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. Four years before, when Barcelona hosted the Summer Olympics, he was on the team that captured the silver medal. He competed in five Summer Olympics, starting in 1988.
 
Rollan was also known as a close friend of Infanta Cristina, whom he introduced to her future husband Inaki Urdangarin. On March 11, 2006, Rollan died after a fall from a terrace at a spa near Barcelona. He was at the spa receiving treatment for depression. The fees for the spa were being paid for by the Spanish Olympic Committee.
 
Jesus Rollan had the ability of defeating the opponent easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts. He never lost hope in himself and always fought hard to achieve his goal. He is still remembered as one of the best athletes in the history of Olympics.
