The Olympic Games or Olympics are an international multi-sport event taking place every four years which comprises of summer and winter games. Zoran Savic is one of the finest athletes who set an appreciated position for himself in the Olympic history. He is a Serbian professional basketball player who was born on 18th of November, 1966 in the Zenica suburb of Yugoslavia. As a player, Savic listed a height of 6 feet 10 inches and had a truly international career, playing in various European nations.
 
Savic played with Jugoplastika in split and won the Yugoslav league title during the 1990 to 1991 season. In the late 1991 season, he was drafted by Barcelona team and spent a couple of seasons in Spain. He then became a member of PAOK, Panthessalonikeios Athlitikos Omilos Konstantinoupoliton Thessaloniki in Greece, where he won the Greek Cup title in 1993 and the Radivoj Korac Cup in 1994. Later, he spent a year with Real Madrid before settling in Kinder Bologna in 1997, and compiled the Italian championship title and European League title.
 
At the international level, Savic also compiled gold medals with Yugoslavia at the 1990 Basketball World Championship and during the 1991, 1995, and 1997 Eurobasket Championships. He also earned a silver medal, shared with the team at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. Having no enough strength to play, Savic announced his retirement in the 2002 season and ended his professional career.

Zoran Savic, with all his dedication and superior approach towards the sport, achieved many aspirations in his overall athletic career. He had the ability of defeating the opponent easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts. He never lost hope in himself and always fought hard to achieve his ambition.
