The Olympic Games, or Olympics, is an international multi-sport event taking place every four years which comprises of summer and winter games. David Wayne Nilsson nicknamed as Dave was born on December 14th, 1969 in Brisbane, Australia and was an Australian baseball player who played as catcher for the Milwaukee Brewers from 1992 to 1999. His career statistics included 837 games played, 789 hits, 105 home runs and a .284 career batting average. Before this time he played for the Brisbane Bandits and Melbourne Reds in the now-defunct Australian Baseball League. He later on left the US to return to Australia.
 
Nilsson represented Australia at the Olympics on several occasions, and has been involved in the strategic direction of the sport in Australia. He left the majors to play for the Australian baseball team in the 2000 Olympics. He played in Japan later that season and did not play in 2001 and 2002 as well.
 
David Nilsson with all his dedication and devotion in his play achieved many goals in his overall athletic career. He had the ability of defeating the opponent easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts. He never lost hope in himself and always fought hard to achieve his goal. He is still remembered as one of the best athletes in the history of Olympics.
