Woody Austin  is an American golfer who played in PGA, Professional Golfers' Association Tours. He was born on February 6, 1970 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His height is 5 feet 10 inches and his weight is 210 pounds. His nickname was Lumpy in his playing career where he won a lot of PGA Tours. In 1996, he won the Honda Classic, in 1997, won LaCantera Texas Open, in 1999, won the Bay Hill Invitational, in 2006, won the Bank of America Colonial. His Best PGA Tour Finishes was in 1996 where he won the Honda Classic. In 1997, he won the LaCantera Texas Open, in 1999, he won the Bay Hill Invitational Tour, in 2006, won the Bank of America Colonial Tour. His Nationwide Tour was in 1995 where he won the NIKE Mississippi Gulf Coast Classic and was top 3 there.
 
In 1996, Austin was the first of 13 first time winners with wire to wire victory at the Honda Classic Tour. In 1999, he captured his third PGA Tour title in four years with playoff victory over Tom Lehman at Bay Hill Invitational. His victory was the highlight of the season in which he finished among the top 25 on Tour money list for first time in his career. In 2003, he enjoyed one of best seasons on Tour and finished 25th on the money list along with a second career appearance in The Tour Championship. In 2004, he finished in the top 50 on the PGA Tour money list for the fifth time in his nine year career for a second straight season.
 
In 2005 season, Austin finished his season in top 30 for the third time in his 10 year career and went over the 2 million dollars mark for the second time in 2003. His seven top 10 matched career high set was in 1999. A unique style of game strategy and excellent judgment is what makes this great player one of the best all time golf players.
