Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society. The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play.
 
Trevor Immelman was born in Cape Town, South Africa. His height is five foot nine inches. He was a scratch player by age 12 and played the African Junior Golf Association Tour from age 13 to 17. In 1996, he made the South African team at age 17 and played in the Eisenhower Trophy in Chile and the first-team All-American in 1996. He won the 2000 Vodacom Players Championship in his native South Africa. In 2002, he recorded three seconds on the European Tour French Open, Volvo Scandinavian Masters and Omega European Masters. He made the cut as an amateur at the 1999 Masters and 2001 Memorial Tournament.
 
In 2004, he followed in the footsteps of one of his heroes, Gary Player, when he became the first person since the Black Knight in 1976 to 77 to successfully defend the South African Airways Open. He came from two strokes back after three rounds to win by three strokes. Trevor posted his first career major championship top 10 finish with a T5 at the Masters, aided by a third-round 7-under-par 65 that tied Tiger Woods for low third-round honors.
 
Trevor Immelman with all his dedication and devotion in his play achieved many goals in his overall career. He had the ability of defeating the opponent easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts.
