Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. Tom Byrum was born on September 28, 1960 in Onida, South Dakota. His height is five foot ten inches and weight is 175 pounds. His best Professional Golfers' Association, PGA Tour where he won the 1989 Kemper Open. He finished out of the top 125 for just the second time since 1996 but was able to get his status back by finishing T5 at the Qualifying Tournament in December.
 
In 2003, he finished 109th on the money list for the second straight season. He regained fully exempt status in 2002. He recorded first top-10 in five appearances at the U.S. Open with a T8 finish. Byrum was lining up a putt when the ball deflected off his putter and rolled about 8 feet into the hole. He ended the 2000 season with two top 10s in his last two starts worth a total of 183,610 dollars to secure his card for the 2001 season. In 1999, he lost to Notah Begay III in playoff at Michelob Championship, when Begay parred second extra hole. He was nominated for 1997 Comeback Player of the Year after posting back-to-back runner-up finishes at the Canon Greater Hartford Open and Buick Open.
 
Tom Byrum with all his dedication and devotion in his play achieved many goals in his overall career. He had the ability of defeating the opponent easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts.
