Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for atleast five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society. The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play.
 
Tjaart van der Walt was born on September 25, 1974 in Pretoria, South Africa. His height is six foot one inch and weight is 189 pounds. His best Professional Golfers' Association, PGA Tour included finishing 2nd in 2005 at the Buick Championship. He also finished the Nationwide Tour in 2000 Cleveland Open. In 2005 he played on a Major Medical Extension category. He came close to collecting his first Tour victory at the 2005 Buick Championship and closed with 8 under 64 to get into a playoff with Brad Faxon and fired a final round 11 under 61.
 
He finished T50 at the 2000 American Express Championship at Valderrama in Sotogrande, Spain, in November, the only Tour event of his career entering 2004. He gained a berth in the Tournament by virtue of finishing in the top three on the 1999 to 2000 Southern Africa Tour Order of Merit. He was a runner-up to Nick Price in the 1998 Zimbabwe Open. He was part of the All-American at Alexander City Junior College and Central Alabama Community College which he attended from 1993 to 95. He won the Willow Point Invitational in 1995 by a record nine strokes.
 
Tjaart with all his dedication and devotion in his play achieved many goals in his overall career. He had the ability of defeating the opponent easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts.
