Tim Petrovic is a well known golf player who played in PGA, Professional Golfers' Association Tours. He was born on August 16, 1966 in Northampton, Massachusetts. His height is 6 feet 2 inches and his weight is 195 pounds. His PGA Tour Victories was recorded in 2005 where he won the Zurich Classic Tour in New Orleans. He was named as the best golfer in the 2005 PGA Zurich Classic Tour of New Orleans. In 1997, he finished third at Pelz World Putting Championship. He is a Division I All-America selection at the University of Hartford. In More2002, he was the Rookie of the season which included his career high top 2 finish at the FedEx Saint Jude Classic Tour. He led the first round after posting a career best 6 under 65. In 2003, Petrovic moved up 50 spots on the money list from 86 to 36 in his sophomore season thus doubling his income with earnings of more than 1.7 million dollars and qualified for his first Masters in 2004. In 2004, he was among the leaders after the first and second rounds of the BellSouth Classic. He scored 75-72 on the weekend and finished top 11. In 2005, he totaled 1,711,229 dollars in earnings on the strength of a victory and three top 10s. Petrovic earned his first PGA Tour victory with sudden death playoff win over James Driscoll at Zurich Classic of New Orleans, becoming the 14th player to earn his first victory in New Orleans.
Tim Petrovic was the member of University of Hartford Hall of Fame and Member of Nationwide Tour in 1993, 1999 and 2001. He became the fourth player in Nationwide Tour history to earn over 100,000 dollars through first four events. A unique style of game strategy and excellent judgment is what makes this great player one of the best all time golf players.
