Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. Sean O'Hair was born in Lubbock, Texas. In 2001, he was made just one cut in seven starts in his only season as a member of the Nationwide Tour. He spent time on the Cleveland Pro Tour and the Gateway Tour, and turned professional after his junior year of high school. In 2004, he earned his initial Tour card for following season after making it through all three stages of the 2004 Qualifying Tournament, including the final stage in his first attempt. He had been to Q-School every year since 1999.
 
He was exceptionally good the first season on Tour, which included his first victory and a runner-up finish. The $2,461,482 earned, was the second-most by a rookie in Tour history behind the $3,063,778 by Todd Hamilton in 2004. First Tour win came at John Deere Classic just one day shy of his 23rd birthday in his 18th career Tour start. Sean was posted four rounds in the 60s, including a final-round 6-under-par 65 that overcame a five-stroke J.L. Lewis lead.
 
He was seventh first-time winner on Tour in 2005, including the first rookie to break through. He earned a career-high $720,000 and a spot in the British Open field the following week, jumping to 16th on the PGA Professional Golfer’s Association Tour money list, and he moved to World number 53 from number 93 and from number 1155 at the end of 2004.
 
His first top-10 of the season came in August in his 23rd start, a T4 at the Buick Open. He posted four rounds in the 60s for the first time since his victory at the 2005 John Deere Classic, he finished third at the Canadian Open He was posted four rounds in the 60s to finish two shots behind champion Jim Furyk.
 
Sean was one of the best known golf players in the history of the game. A unique style of game strategy and excellent judgment is what makes this great player one of the best all time golf players.
