The PGA Tour operates mostly in the USA with occasional events in Canada and Mexico, and one major championship in the United Kingdom. PGA Tour conducts the top Tour with Champions Tour, for golfers aged 50 and above and for Nationwide Tour which is a second-level Tour.
Russ Cochran was born on October 31, 1958 in Paducah, Kentucky. His height is 6 foot and weight 190 pounds. His best PGA Tour Finishes in 1991Centel Western Open. In Career Highlights, after losing playoff at unofficial Deposit Guaranty Golf Classic in 1991, he earned first PGA Tour victory at 91 Centel Western Open. His Trailed Greg Norman by five strokes with eight holes to play. He was 2-under par down the stretch, while Norman played final nine in 40, and earned two-stroke victory. At the time, joined Bob Charles, Sam Adams, Ernie Gonzalez and Phil Mickelson as left-handed Tour winners Entered final round of 1991 Tour Championship tied with Craig Stadler and remained tied after each shot 71.
In 1997, T10 at The Players Championship, he was 6th at Freeport-McDermott Classic, T7 at Quad City Classic, T2 at Buick Open and fourth at Greater Vancouver Open. In 1999, he rallied to keep his exempt status with three top-10 finishes in last nine starts and closed the deal with a tie for ninth at Southern Farm Bureau Classic and won two Tournament Players Series events. In 1993, he was TPS leading money winner that year, which earned him Tour exemption in 1984. He possessed superior approach and dedication to the game which made him stand out from the other players.
