Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. PGA stands for Professional Golfers' Association Tour. The PGA Tour is an organization headquartered in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, USA that operates the USA's main professional golf Tours. The PGA Tour since 1968 has been completely separated from the Professional Golfers' Association of America, PGA of America, which is now primarily an association of club professionals.
The PGA Tour operates mostly in the USA with occasional events in Canada and Mexico, and one major championship in the United Kingdom. PGA Tour conducts the top Tour with Champions Tour, for golfers aged 50 and above and for Nationwide Tour which is a second-level Tour.
Ron Whittaker was born on Aug 12, 1971. His height is 5 foot 11 inches and weight 175 pounds. His best PGA Tour Finishes are in T21-2006 Buick Championship, Best 2005 Nationwide Tour Finishes in T43-Rheem Classic pressed by Times Record. He back on the PGA Tour for the first time since 1996 after finishing T13 at the 2005 Qualifying Tournament. He made it through all three stages. During 1996 season, he made eight of 23 cuts with best finishes of T33 at the Deposit Guaranty Golf Classic and Buick Open. He earned initial Tour card after finishing T37 at 1995 Qualifying Tournament. He had spent the 1997 and 1998 seasons on the Nationwide Tour, where he finished career-best 46th on money list in 1997. Top finishes on that Tour include a third at the 1997 Laurel Creek Classic and a T3 at the 1998 St. Louis Golf Classic. He played Sunshine Tour in 1995 and 2000, Gateway Tour in 2003 and 2005 and Tight Lies Tour in 2000 and 2003-05.
In personal, his biggest thrill in golf was playing in 1996 World Series of Golf. His father started him playing and had his first golf lesson from Arnold Palmer when he was two years old. He possessed superior approach and dedication to the game which made him stand out from the other players.
