Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for atleast five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society. The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play. Luke Campbell Donald was born on December 7, 1977 in Hempstead, England. His height is five foot nine inch and weighs 160 pounds. His Professional Golfer’s Association Tour victories include 2002 Southern Farm Bureau Classic and 2006 Honda Classic. His International victories include 2004 Scandinavian Masters and Omega European Masters. His other victories include 2004 World Cup with Paul Casey. He won the 1999 NCAA, National Collegiate Athletic Association individual title. He also won the 1999 Fred Haskins Award for top collegiate golfer. He won the 1999 Jack Nicklaus award, as collegiate men's golf's player of the year, which earned him a spot in the field at the 2000 Memorial Tournament, where he finished T51. His best 2005 PGA Tour Finishes T2 includes Buick Invitational, The Players Championship, T3 Masters Tournament, and T9 WGC Accenture Match Play Championship. Luke Donald is one of the best known golf players in the history of the game. A unique style of game strategy and excellent judgment is what makes this great player one of the best all time golf players. Sheer determination, concentration and self confidence has helped him through out his professional career of playing golf to achieve what other players can only imagine of.
