He attended the Qualifying School every year since 1996, making it to finals in 1997 and 2004. He also played the Gateway Tour during the 2002 to 2004 and finished fifth in the 2004 Desert Series money list. The 2005 season highlights reveal Snyder to become one of three first-year players to earn over 1 million dollars with a first career top-10 that came in 17th start on tour.
 
Snyder’s superior approach and dedication towards the sport made him surpass the other players of his epoch. However, he gained prominence only after he won the first PGA title in his career and became an international celebrity and a symbol of hope to millions.
