Jimmy Walker was born on January 16, 1979 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. His height is 6 feet 2 inches and he weighs 180lbs. He debuted in the year 2001 and swings from right. In 2005 season, Jimmy Walker was limited to nine events due to neck injury. He earned in nine events in 2005. In 2004 he became second-youngest player to earn Nationwide Tour Player of the Year honors after winning twice and finishing number 1 on the money list. He recorded seven top-10s and 12 top-25s, while making the cut in 20 of 25 tournaments entered. He captured his first career victory at the inaugural BellSouth Panama Championship, with rounds of 65-69-70-69, making him the only player to post par-or-better scores all four days. His 7-under 273 was good for a five-stroke victory over Tom Scherrer.
 
In 2002 he made the cut in eight of 10 starts on the Nationwide Tour, with a pair of top-10 finishes and won the Scottsdale Swing at Eagle Mountain on the Canadian Tour and Gateway Tour. In 2001 he played in the U.S. Open at Southern Hills. His second-round 66 tied for the third-best round of the week, behind only 64s by Mark Brooks and Tom Kite. As an amateur he was in All-American selection at Baylor University.
 
He is one of the best known golf players in the history of the game. A unique style of game strategy and excellent judgment is what makes this great player one of the best all time golf players. Sheer determination, concentration and self confidence has helped him through out his professional career of playing golf to achieve what other players can only imagine of. More than just statistics, Jimmy Walker had the ability to control the game, to take over. He had the speed to float away from defenders and also to recover effortlessly.
