Jeff Overton
Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for atleast five centuries in the British Isles. The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play. PGA stands for Professional Golfers' Association Tour.
Jeffrey Overton was born on May 28, 1983 Evansville, Indiana. His height is 6 feet 4 inches and his weight is 195 lbs. He is 23 year old and studied from college Indiana. He made his debut in the year 2005.
Jeffrey Overton current Year PGA Tour highlights posted a double eagle on number 18 at Westchester Country Club during the Barclays Classic as he holed a fairway wood from 239 yards after a 294-yard drive. It was the fourth in tournament history and the third of the 2006 PGA Tour season, his first career top-10 came in 16th start of rookie campaign, a T10 at the John Deere Classic, second top-10 was a T9 at the 84 Lumber Classic, moving into the top 125 on the Tour money list at number 123.
Jeffrey Overton was Rookie on the PGA Tour after finishing T13 at 2005 Qualifying Tournament. He made it through all three stages in first attempt at Q-School and missed cut in his only Tour start at the 2005 Buick Championship. He made cut in all three starts on 2005 Nationwide Tour, including career-best T19 finish at the Gila River Golf Classic. He was selected as the second-team All-America in 2004-2005. He was Big Ten Player of the Year in 2004-2005 and Big Ten Champion 2005.
He was a member of winning 2005 Palmer and Walker Cup teams. He secured a winning point in singles with a two-putt par on the 18th hole to recapture the Walker Cup for the U.S. Walker Cup teammates John B. He won the Les Bolstad Award for Big Ten low season stroke average in 2004-2005. He is one of the best known golf players in the history of the game. A unique style of game strategy and excellent judgment is what makes this great player one of the best all time golf players. Sheer determination, concentration and self confidence has helped him through out his professional career of playing golf to achieve what other players can only imagine of.
