In current Year PGA Tour, he tied for seventh at The Honda Classic. He entered final round one off the lead of Billy Mayfair and Luke Donald. He held the lead after nine holes but posted a back-nine 40 to finish at 2-over-par 74 to fall out of contention. He opened with an 8-under-par 63 at the Booz Allen Classic, and went on to finish a career-best T6 at the rain-soaked event.
 
His 2005 season was capped by his third career win at the Oregon Classic, where he held the 54-hole lead by three strokes and was named the winner when inclement weather canceled the final round. Other wins came at 1999 Knoxville Open and 1995 Tri-Cities Open. He was the member of Nationwide Tour in 1995-1999, 2001 and 2003-2005. He stands second on Nationwide Tour career money list and is number 41 on the 2004 Nationwide Tour. He set a new Tour record for Greens in regulation with a 74.3 percent mark throughout the season. In 2003, he failed to crack top 60 for the only time in his eight seasons on the Nationwide Tour.
 
He is one of the best known golf players in the history of the game. A unique style of game strategy and excellent judgment is what makes this great player one of the best all time golf players.
