Frank Nobilo
Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for atleast five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society. Frank Nobilo was born on 14th May 1960 in Auckland, New Zealand. He debuted in golf in November 1979 at the age of 19. His PGA Tour Victories are 1st in 1997 at Greater Greensboro Chrysler Classic, New South Wales PGA in 1982 at Australia, 1985 New Zealand PGA, 1987 New Zealand PGA, 1988 PLM Open at Europe, 1991 Lancome Trophy at Europe, 1993 Turespana Mediterranean Open in Europe, 1994 Sampoerna Indonesian Open at Asia, 1995 BMW International Open in Europe and Sarazen World Open. He has participated in three Presidents Cups in 1994, 1996 and 1998. He captured his first PGA Tour title in second season on Tour at the 1997 Greater Greensboro Chrysler Classic. Also in 1997, he captured the Hong Kong Open and Mexican Open and won 1996 Deutsche Bank Open on PGA European Tour and second consecutive Subaru Sarazen World Open, marking first successful defense of his career. Frank Nobilo had the ability of defeating the opponent easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts. He never lost hope in himself and always fought hard to achieve his goal. He is still remembered as one of the best golfers.
