Theodore Ernest Els nicknamed as Ernie Els was born on October 17, 1969 in Johannesburg, South Africa. His height 6 foot 3 inches and his weight is 210 pounds. He debuted in 1989 and his 2006 Professional Golfers' Association, PGA money list rank was 34. In the current year he finished 3rd at the British Open Championship, T10 at The International, T7 at the Ford Championship at Doral, Verizon Heritage, T8 at The Players Championship, round 2 at Ford Championship at Doral, round 3 at Verizon Heritage and round 2 at British Open Championship.
 
In the third PGA Tour start, he finished T7 at the Ford Championship at Doral, first start at Blue Monster since winning the event in 2002. His 2004 season included three Tour victories and top-10 finishes in all four majors, including near-misses at the Masters and British Open. In 1994 he was victorious at U.S. Open in a playoff over Loren Roberts and Colin Montgomerie. In 1993 he became first player to record four rounds in 60s at the British Open, finishing T6. In 1992 he won six events on Southern African Tour.
 
Ernie Els with all his dedication and devotion in his play achieved many goals in his overall career. He had the ability of defeating the opponent easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts. He never lost hope in himself and always fought hard to achieve his goal. He is still remembered as one of the best sportsman in the history of golf.
