Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for atleast five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society.
 
James Joseph Jr Waldorf nicknamed as Duffy was born on August 20, 1962 in Los Angeles, California. His height is 6 foot and his weight is 225 pounds. His 2006 Professional Golfers' Association, PGA money list rank was number 126. In 1994 he finished in the top-10 eight times including a third at the Sprint International. In 1993 he held a 54-hole lead at Buick Classic before closing 75 dropped him to T10. In 1992 finished as a runner-up in Phoenix Open and Buick Classic. In 1990 he was the qualifying tournament medalist in fourth attempt. As an amateur he was the winner of 1984 California State Amateur and Broadmoor Invitational. In 1985 he was college player of the year.
 
In 2003, making his 13th start at The Players Championship he posted a career-best finish with T11 and recorded a T2 at the FBR Capital Open in June. For the first time in his career, he won in back-to-back seasons with victory at National Car Rental Golf Classic at Walt Disney World Resort. Also he finished T3 at the WGC-American Express Championship.
 
He had the ability of defeating the opponent easily by just giving some extra hard work and efforts. He never lost hope in himself and always fought hard to achieve his goal. He is still remembered as one of the best golfers.
