Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. The two basic forms of playing golf are match play and stroke play. PGA stands for Professional Golfers' Association Tour. The PGA Tour is an organization headquartered in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, USA that operates the USA's main professional golf tours. The PGA Tour since 1968 has been completely separated from the Professional Golfers' Association of America, PGA of America, which is now primarily an association of club professionals. David Peoples was born on January 9, 1960 in Augusta, Maine. He had a height of 5 foot 9 inches and weighs 170 pounds. He turned towards Professional golf career in the year 1981. His PGA tour victories include 1991 Buick Southern Open and 1992 Anheuser-Busch Golf Classic and international victory includes 1990 Isuzu Kapalua International. He finished out of the top 150 for the first time since 1999 and posted no top-10s for the second straight season. In 2004, he missed June and early July due to hernia surgery and a rib injury. He received a Minor Medical Extension for 2005 after finishing No. 147 on money list. In 2003, he finished in the top 100 for the third consecutive season and earned a career-best 1,243,774 dollars in 2002, which was 531,117 dollars more than previous best season. This made him finish 48th on the money list. He also recorded two top-10s in 1993. He earned playing privileges in 2000 with T2 finish at the 1999 Qualifying Tournament. He is one of the best known golf players in the history of the game. A unique style of game strategy and excellent judgment is what makes this great player one of the best all time golf players. Sheer determination, concentration and self confidence has helped him through out his professional career of playing golf to achieve what other players can only imagine of.
