David Howell was born on 23 June 1975 and is an English golfer from Swindon. His height is 6 foot 1 inch and weight is 190 pounds. His International victories include 1998 MasterCard Australian PGA Championship, 1999 Dubai Desert Classic, 2005 BMW International Open, HSBC Champions and 2006 BMW Championship. His Current Year Best PGA TOUR Finishes is WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship with his Current Year PGA TOUR Best Round of 66 at Round 1, Barclays Classic.
 
He won the season-opening European Tour event, the HSBC Champions. In the season's first appearance on the PGA TOUR, he finished T5 at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship, defeating Steve Elkington, Scott Verplank and Phil Mickelson before falling to eventual champion Geoff Ogilvy in 19 holes in the quarterfinals he Collected a second title on the European Tour with his five-stroke victory at the BMW Championship at the Wentworth Club and he Shared the second-round lead with Vijay Singh at the Barclays Classic at 8-under 134 before closing rounds of 73-74 left him tied for 13th.
 
He is one of the best known golf players in the history of the game. A unique style of game strategy and excellent judgment is what makes this great player one of the best all time golf players. Sheer determination, concentration and self confidence has helped him through out his professional career of playing golf to achieve what other players can only imagine of.
