Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. This game does not have any fixed standard playing area, but an ideal measurement can be decided as per the availability of space and number of players involved. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. Although often viewed as an elite pastime, golf is now becoming an increasingly popular sport across all sections of society. Brett Wetterich was born on August 9, 1973 in Cincinnati, Ohio and is an American golfer, who turned professional in 1994. He finished T26 at the Qualifying Tournament to up his status for 2006 after finishing a career-best 132nd finish on the money list on the strength of two top-10s and five top-25 finishes. He recorded second top-10 of his career in his 49th event with a T6 at 2005 Honda Classic, three years after a T8 at Honda. He entered the 2004 Nationwide Tour Championship in the No. 23 spot on the money list but his runner-up showing propelled him 13 spots to finish No. 10 on the money list and earn his way back to the tour. He finished 24th on the 2003 Nationwide Tour after winning his first career tournament in his initial event of the season at the 2003 Chitimacha Louisiana Open. In 2004 he made the cut in 16 of 28 tournament starts on the 2004 Nationwide Tour, including seven top-25 finishes. He entered the Tour Championship in the No. 23 spot on the money list but his runner-up showing propelled him 13 spots to finish No. 10 on the money list, with 253,637 dollars. He ended the tournament 12-under-par 276, three strokes behind winner Nick Watney. He won the EDS Byron Nelson Championship. This win helped him secure a place in the 2006 U.S. Ryder Cup team, finishing in tenth on the American points list. He is one of the best known golf players in the history of the game. A unique style of game strategy and excellent judgment is what makes this great player one of the best all time golf players. Sheer determination, concentration and self confidence has helped him through out his professional career of playing golf to achieve what other players can only imagine of.
