Golf is an outdoor sport where player as an individual or from varied teams strike a ball targeting a hole using various clubs. The game basically originated from Scotland and has been played for at least five centuries in the British Isles. PGA stands for Professional Golfers' Association Tour. The PGA Tour is an organization headquartered in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, USA that operates the USA's main professional golf tours.
 
Brent Geiberger was born on May 22, 1968 in Santa Barbara, California. He entered the week at number 144 on Tour money list looking to secure card for 2005. In 1998, he made PGA Championship history when he and father became first father-son combo to compete in same PGA.
 
In 2001 opening 64 gave him first-round lead in Buick Invitational, finished T5 and also finished T5 at the Greater Milwaukee Open and Air Canada Championship. In 2000 he started the year with a T8 at the Mercedes Championships. Shot final-round 68 to move into T10 at the Buick Invitational. He ended season on a strong note, finishing T8 at Air Canada Championship and T5 at Buick Challenge. In 1999 his First PGA Tour victory came at the Canon Greater Hartford Open. His victory also marked first time a son of former Tour champion had won on Tour since Guy Boros. He won in record fashion after rounds of 66-63-66-67 produced three-stroke victory over Skip Kendall. He shared 36-hole lead at 11-under-par 129. He held 54-hole lead at 15-under 195, which established tournament record.
 
His golf ranking in 1998 cracked the top-50 on Tour money list and missed only seven cuts in 26 appearances. He closed with 66 at Phoenix Open to finish T2, three strokes behind Jesper Parnevik. He closed 68-65 at the National Car Rental Golf Classic for third-place finish. He is the winner of eight junior college tournaments while attending College of the Desert in Palm Springs, California.
 
He is one of the best known golf players in the history of the game. A unique style of game strategy and excellent judgment is what makes this great player one of the best all time golf players. Sheer determination, concentration and self confidence has helped him through out his professional career of playing golf to achieve what other players can only imagine of.
